Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering

Overview

Last three decades have witnessed phenomenal growth in electronics and communication, from terrestrial to microwave and broadband communication. The growth is expected to be still more vigorous, involving higher levels of sophistication, technology and skills in the days to come. This has created avenues for specialized manpower who could be engaged in design, development, operation and maintenance of electronic circuits and devices for diverse communication needs. Realizing the need for qualified manpower in this area, within the country and overseas,  nec started Bachelor program in Electronics and Communication Engineering beginning academic year of 1999. The objective of the program is to train the students with needed competence in design, testing and application of electronic devices and their applications in array of households, industrial and communication applications.
