Rapid development in microelectronics and computer science has created the need for specialized manpower who could fuse these two cutting-edge technologies. This fusion of knowledge and technology has led to evolution of highly specialized professional field in engineering called Computer Engineering. Computer Engineers have wide ranging career options in business, industries, production and service sectors and in IT-industries. Realizing the ever growing need of Computer Engineers within the country, and also rapidly growing employment prospects abroad, nec started Bachelor program in Computer Engineering beginning the academic year of 1999. A workshop on Ethical Hacking, coordinated by Asst. Prof. Anshu Ghimire,
was conducted for final year students of Computer Engineering on July 28,
2019. Mr. Ujjwal Dharewa, networking and security expert from Neosphere,
conducted the workshop at Neosphere, Baneshwor. Asst. Prof. Anshu
Ghimire, Asst. Prof. Ashish Kumar Jha, Assoc. Prof. Dinesh Dangol and Asst.
Prof. Krishna Bikram Shah also attended the workshop.
