nec Ingenium 2025 is a showcase of creativity, innovation, and ingenuity at Nepal Engineering College (nec) aiming to present an array of remarkable projects from disciplines of science, engineering and architecture that embody the collective brilliance of talented individuals and visionary groups.
nec was established in 1994 as a not-for-profit social academic institute and is an ISO certified college making quality technical education accessible and affordable to the masses. At present there are 2000+ students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering and architecture. nec is committed to retaining its long earned reputation of "an institution with concerns for quality and academic freedom".

CodeSprint Hackathon
Hackathon to test innovation, rapid prototyping and teamwork. Problem statement to be revealed at the start of event.
Please note that this event starts early on July 01, before the main event date on July 03. Also, the no. of teams that can register is limited to 15.

Currently enrolled students from undergraduate, diploma and +2 levels can participate. Open Science Project and Short Video Challenge are +2 level only whereas the rest of the events are for undergraduate students from any program.
No. All events in nec Ingenium 2025 are free to register.
The hackathon is time-bound with given theme whereas innovation fair entails exhibition/showcase of pre-developed projects. The hackathon will occur on July 01. The innovation fair will occur on main event day (July 03).
