Paper submitted and presented to Ozwater by Sagar Khadka nec 1997

Paper submitted and presented to Ozwater 2014 by Sagar Khadka.  Ozwater is the largest water conference in Australia where water experts from all around the world participate.  He will also be presenting the same paper at Water Industry Operators Association (WIOA)on September 4, 2014, Melbourne.

CARRD nec took part in the Civil Exihibition 2013 organised by civil department of Pulchowk

CARRD nec team consisting of students from various faculties put up a grand performance at the Civil Exhibition 2013 at the Pulchowk grounds. Various architectural models were put on show. A modelling project of the replica of the Burj-al-Arab hotel was the central attraction while the Recreational Club design accoladed much appreciation from the visitors. Architecture students Dikesh Shrestha and Bharat Limbu modelled the Burj hotel and Prajina Shrestha modelled the recreational club design. Those present at the stall, architectural students Aastha Thapa and Upama Chhetri, talked about the features of the models, emphasizing the salients features of the models. Burj-al-Arab gathered much enthusiasm from the crowd with its streamlined design and international appeal. Exhibitors from nec were thrilled to be a part of the exhibition as the interaction amongst visitors have enhanced their vocational skills and learnt invaluable experience from the exhibition. The project named Modified Cook Stove is participating in the Project Competition at the exhibition too. This is the same Project that was awarded best Project at KARMALAYA IV, organised by CARRD and hence selected forth. The Project is leaded by Roman Man Shrestha, Bikas Bhatta, Sajan Ghimere, Ajeya raj shrestha and Uttam Adharaki. CARRD wishes them very best of luck.
