Nepal Engineering College (nec), affiliated to Pokhara University, invites application in the following programs for academic year 2010/11.

B. Architecture(5 years)
B. E. (Civil)(4 years)
B. E. (Computer)(4 years)
B. E. (Electronics and Communication)(4 years)
B. E. (Electrical and Electronics)(4 years)
B. E. (Civil and Rural)(4 & 1/2 years)

Eligibility
At least second division in +2 (Science) or I. Sc. or 3 years Engineering Diploma or equivalent (including Bio group).

Scholarships

For the academic year 2010/11, the college has announced following merits
scholarships based on academic performance

70% to 79% 35% of Total Fee
60% to 69% 20% of Total Fee
50% to 59% 10% of Total Fee
Less than 50% No Rebate

Score is obtained by assigning 75% weightage for
nec Entrance Test (nET- 2010) and 25% weightage
for Intermediate (Eligibility) level.

To be eligible for the scholarships, students must pass nec Entrance Test (nET-2010).

Copy of I.Sc./10+2/Diploma Transcript must be submitted with this form.

(In case of students awaiting result, a copy of Grade 11 or I.Sc. 1st Year marksheet along with Admission Card of final Board or University exam must be included.)

The Entrance Test will be paper based and the duration will be of 3 hours. If you have any queries

Subjects for nec Entrance Test (nET-2010):
1. Physics (25% Weightage)
2. Mathematics (40% Weightage)
3. English (20% Weightage)
4. Chemistry (15% Weightage)

Separate Aptitude Test would be held for Architecture applicants to test their drawing and conceptual abilities.

Test Duration: 3 Hours (From 11 AM to 2 PM)

1. The processing fee of Rs. 400 is required to be paid during the submission of the form.
2. Bus services will be provided for the examinee from Babarmahal, Kathmandu from 8 AM to 9 AM on
August 27 & 28, 2010 (Bhadra 11 & 12, 2067).
